Privacy notice

What Ayonko collects, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.

What we collect. Account details, identity verification results, driver licence data, trip and payment records, messages sent through the platform, device and session information, and the photographs taken at check-in and check-out.

Why. To operate the marketplace: verifying that a driver may lawfully drive in a market, taking payment, settling disputes with evidence, preventing fraud, and meeting the record-keeping obligations of each jurisdiction.

Identity documents are stored separately from ordinary account data, are never served from a public URL, and are not visible to general support staff.

Location. Precise vehicle location is never shown publicly. Listings display an approximate area until a booking is confirmed. Historic vehicle location from any optional telematics integration is not disclosed publicly and is governed by explicit privacy rules per market.

Your rights. You can export your data or request erasure from Account → Privacy. Records that financial or legal obligations require us to retain are anonymised rather than deleted, and we tell you which.

Retention. Trip evidence is retained for the dispute and claim window applicable to the market, then deleted.

LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED per jurisdiction before activation.
