Terms of service

These terms are a working template for the Ayonko platform and must be reviewed by counsel in each jurisdiction before that market is activated. Where a market's requirements differ, the market-specific terms attached to your booking prevail.

1. What Ayonko is. Ayonko operates an online marketplace. Ayonko is not a rental car company, a transport provider, or an insurance carrier. The rental contract is between the guest and the host.

2. Eligibility. You must meet the minimum driver age, licence-held duration and permit requirements of the market you book in. These are shown before you pay.

3. Payments. Prices are quoted in the market's currency and are captured as described in the Help centre. The price snapshot recorded when your booking is confirmed governs that trip; later changes to platform pricing do not alter it.

4. Vehicle condition. Guests must complete check-in and check-out photography. Failure to do so may affect the outcome of a damage dispute.

5. Prohibited use. No off-road or beach driving unless the listing permits it, no subletting, no use for hire or reward, no transport of the vehicle off-island without host approval and market permission.

6. Cancellation. As per the policy shown on the listing at the time of booking.

7. Liability. To the extent permitted by the law of the applicable market, Ayonko's liability is limited to the platform fees it received for the trip in question.
